Stockholm-based Violet Days (the collaborative project of singer-songwriter/artist Lina Hansson and songwriter/producer, Kris Eriksson) is back with this summer’s second release “Still Dreaming”, a romanticized memory of a love that hurt too much to hold on to. Earlier this summer, Violet Days made a strong impression on the Scandinavian music scene with the hopeful summer song “This Year’s Summer”, that has attracted the attention of the media and radio both nationally and internationally.
With “Still dreaming” Violet Days is further solidifying their potential as a global force in music.
Speaking about the new song, Lina reveals: “I find it fascinating how certain memories of people and moments can change over the years, and that the image of how you once saw them is blurred more and more and often becomes something better, or even something that really never happened. This song is about getting caught up in a dreamy romanticized memory of a love that hurts to keep, but you cannot let go of.”
