Multimedia powerhouse The Lunch Table experiments with music creation by collaborating with Thuy, and Prescription Songs signee/Oakland-producer De’la for their debut single “Bet”.
Thuy is a Vietnamese-American recording artist from Newark, CA. Though music was running in her veins since birth, the R&B songstress professionally pursued music in 2015 and since then has been completely invested into her craft. In 2017, Thuy dropped “All Night Long” which accumulated over 6 million plays on Soundcloud, 2 million on Apple Music, and 3000+ daily plays on Spotify.
Inspired by the unforgettable wave of 2000s R&B, “Bet” provides nostalgic sonics meant to empower people with one lesson: love yourself like no one else will.
A&R and The Lunch Table founder Nico Blitz says, “Though now is the time we’re seeing a surge of Asian American artists in music, Thuy is much more than the group she represents physically. The passion I saw when she was recording ‘Bet’ translates into a heart-to-heart conversation with her audience, exemplifying her as your best friend that understands you.”
