Toronto-based singer, songwriter and producer Kubla has released his debut EP titled “Golden Boy”. Entirely self-produced, the five-track collection exemplifies his skills as a songwriter and storyteller.
Talking about the new project, Kubla explains: “Everyone is the hero of their own story. My debut EP, Golden Boy, is an exploration of heroism in the modern world. Every person has to discover themselves and their story, and I sing about that through a lens of my own experiences, with themes of disappointment, desire, love, and hope. Completely self-produced over a harsh Canadian winter and in self isolation during COVID-19, this EP delivers imaginative grooves, beautiful harmony, and a message of self-discovery I believe is much needed during these strange times.”
