Minneapolis native and Charleston-based independent artist Barely Trev returns with his new single “75 in December”.
Speaking about the song, the artist shares: “I wrote this song last winter after moving from Minnesota to South Carolina. There was a day in December that hit 75 degrees Fahrenheit (24C), which was a huge change for me having lived in a cold climate my whole life. While the warmth of my new surroundings despite it being the middle of winter seemed like a dream, it came with a realization that I was no longer near my friends and family. There’s a melancholic feeling that comes with moving away from home, and that idea is what inspired the lyrics for this song.”
