Surf Mesa is a 20-year-old electronic producer (originally from Seattle and currently based in LA). He started his EDM project in high school and released music on SoundCloud in his own words “with no greater ambition than to create art on a blank canvas.” In 2019 he dropped his EP bedroom.
Surf Mesa’s song “ily (i love you baby) feat. Emilee” became a viral sensation on TikTok. The track that lyrically samples the 1967 song “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” by Frankie Valli was first released in November 2019, and re-released through Astralwerks and Universal in February 2020.
